Program

A standard field trip lasts 1 hour and includes: a pre-recorded show of your choice, Texas Stargazing, Q&A, and an optional virtual roller coaster ride. This can be customized by removing items or by adding up to one additional pre-recorded show. Total field trip length and cost will vary in those cases. One show typically runs 1 hour and two shows 1.5 hours. For explanation and calculation of costs, see below.

Our theater seats 150 people. Please ensure that your total number of people does not exceed 150.

Our field trip rate is $8.00 per student with a minimum of 15 students or $120. Adding an additional show adds $4.00 per student for each additional show. Independent School District teachers on the field trip are free, but additional chaperones or students are at the $8.00 rate.

A planetarium show is approximately 1-hour long and includes a night sky tour, Q&A, a pre-recorded show, and an optional 2-minutes roller coaster ride.

The night sky tour and Q&A parts are live presentations by an Astronomer. The content will include the solar system, distant stars, and galaxies aligned with TEKS and NGSS depending on the grade level.

The optimal experience will be with one pre-recorded show but an additional pre-recorded show is available upon request. An additional show will add $4.00 per person and 30 minutes to the experience.
