HOST and LEEON LEAN: at the UTA Planetarium
Join synth-pop artist HOST for a lyrically rich, emotionally resonant performance beneath the dome, featuring songs from his debut album (G)HOST). Accompanying him is award-winning digital artist LEEONLEAN, whose live-generated visuals transform the 60ft dome into a dynamic canvas of light and motion. The night opens with CURATORIAL, a UTA Art History senior, performing his ambient work Spirit, Becoming—a meditative soundscape of layered emotion. A truly interactive, multi-sensory journey unlike any other. LEEON LEAN is an award winning, cutting-edge digital artist who creates mesmerizing visuals—striking, fantastical moving patterns of depth and complexity—created LIVE. Fascinated by computer art since age ten—and programming original pieces on an Atari 400 by twelve—he went on to earn a BFA in Electronic Imagery from the Savannah College of Art and Design. His visionary work has been featured in magazines, graced gallery walls, including two solo shows, and backing musicians with live, interactive visuals—most recently mesmerizing audiences beneath the 60-foot dome of the UT Arlington Planetarium.
